About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the University of Bath as a Senior Security Officer. As a key member of the security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of students, staff, and visitors on campus.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of security staff to ensure a safe and secure environment
- Respond to incidents and emergencies, providing support and assistance as needed
- Develop and implement security protocols and procedures to prevent and respond to incidents
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and effective security strategy
- Provide excellent customer service and support to students, staff, and visitors
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Experience in a security or related role
- First Aid At Work (FAAW) training and Security Industry Authority licence
