Job Description:
Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Hunter Dunning Ltd. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for supporting the Directors in the delivery of our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of building surveyors, project managers, and resource management staff to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
- Project Management: Manage multiple projects across the full life cycle, including delivery and procurement, to ensure timely completion and client satisfaction.
- Financial Management: Manage team finances, including fee proposals, invoicing, and projections, to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
- Business Development: Support business development initiatives, including new project acquisition and repeat business, to drive growth and revenue.
- Client Management: Engage with clients to ensure client satisfaction and provide advice on complex defects, solutions, and enquiries.
- Training and Development: Train and mentor building surveyors, project managers, and resource management staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver projects successfully.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all projects are delivered to the highest quality standards and that all work is carried out in accordance with relevant legislation and regulations.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience working for a construction or property consultancy.
- Qualifications: MRICS Chartered Building Surveyor, RICS Accredited Degree.
- Skills: High-rise residential experience, experience with working on projects across the full life cycle, including delivery and procurement, experience in managing teams, experience in managing multiple work programmes, experience in financial management, knowledge of UK Building Regulations and Fire Safety Legislation.
- Salary: £75,000 - £90,000 per annum.
- Benefits: 24 days holiday + bank holidays, progression within 6 months up to Director level, EMI shares offered, contributory pension, private medical insurance, support with professional subscriptions.
