Job Description

As a Corporate Tax Manager at RSM, you will be part of a dynamic team that provides high-quality corporate tax compliance services to clients across various industries. Your role will involve working on a diverse portfolio of clients, some with complex tax affairs, ensuring excellent client service and identifying further work opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality corporation tax compliance services to clients, including addressing queries and enquiries from HMRC.
  • Work closely with colleagues to provide value-added, technically accurate, clear, and concise tax advice covering a range of technical issues relevant to clients' business risks, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Build your external network of peers (clients and non-clients) and assist colleagues in other departments to help them provide a high-quality service to their clients and identify tax-related risks and opportunities.
  • Continuously improve your skills, knowledge, and capability for the benefit of clients, which you will be expected to embrace as part of your own development and promote by providing coaching and guidance to junior members of the team.
  • Ensure clients' tax affairs comply with statutory requirements and manage compliance work efficiently.
  • Ensure tax quality at all times by adhering to the Firm's quality standards.
Requirements:
  • CTA/CA/ACA part-qualified with experience working within an Accountancy Practice.
  • Good level of exposure to Corporate Tax and ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Strong personal skills to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Good standard of education, particularly in Maths and English.
  • Strong understanding of corporate tax rules and 3 years of practical experience applying these, with an eagerness to develop further.
  • Proven experience in client handling and project management.
  • Proven tax experience in producing high-quality work within budget.
  • Tax experience from a practice background is preferable.
