Electrical Maintenance Engineer Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Nicholas Associates. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing automated production line machinery to minimize production downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on automated plant machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  2. Provide technical support on all projects, installations, and breakdowns.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, with experience in PLCs and automation. A mechanical understanding of gearboxes, pumps, and pneumatics would be advantageous. Electrically qualified candidates with a minimum Level 3 or apprentice-trained background are encouraged to apply.

Benefits:

Our company offers a competitive salary of up to £51,522 per annum, annual pay reviews, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, and the option to purchase additional days. We also offer a pension scheme with 6% matched contributions.

Shift Pattern:

The successful candidate will work a morning and afternoon shift pattern, with flexibility around Saturdays for events, holidays, and birthdays. The morning shift runs from Monday to Thursday 6:15 am - 3:00 pm, Friday 6:15 am - 2:45 pm, and Saturdays 6:00 am - 11:00 am (paid at x1.5). The afternoon shift runs from Monday to Thursday 2:45 pm - 12:30 am, with Fridays available for overtime.
