Gobel & Partner Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Part Inspection Report Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for supporting and managing vehicle build Part Inspection Reports (PIRs) for all parts required on each build for each vehicle line.
Key Responsibilities- Support and manage vehicle build PIRs for all parts required on each build for each vehicle line.
- Set up and monitor PIR tracking through relevant systems.
- Ensure manufacturing conformance is completed in line with all design requirements and plans.
- Address part quality issues with suppliers and interact with engineering for design concerns in manufacturing.
- Issue PIR templates to suppliers for completion in line with programme timing and deliverables.
- Liaise with commodity engineers and squads to ensure timely receiving and approval of PIR templates.
- Monitor and report on PIR status, generating metrics for managed builds in relevant forums.
- Lead education sessions with engineering groups and squads to ensure all engineering requirements are fully understood.
- Investigate and lead process improvement opportunities.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, including design to manufacturing.
- Ability to manage multiple locations and establish cost-efficient methods.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
