  • Providing technical guidance, support, and mentorship to colleagues.
  • Leading projects from inception to completion, collaborating with Project Managers to define project briefs, deliverables, milestones, methodologies, and quality assurance strategies.
  • Conducting detailed design work and reviewing outputs such as calculations, drawings, and reports to ensure optimal project solutions.
  • Documenting and communicating design modifications to the Project Manager.
  • Taking ownership of work requirements and ensuring timely, cost-effective, and quality-driven delivery.
  • Participating in project close-out meetings and recommending improvements to policies and processes.

You will also engage in business development activities, assisting in the preparation of capability statements, pre-qualification questionnaires, expressions of interest, and tenders, while nurturing existing client relationships to secure new and repeat business.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Chartered Engineer status with a recognized institution (e.g., ICE or CIWEM).
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities, fostering positive relationships across all organizational levels, clients, and contractors.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in water and wastewater non-infrastructure design, including an understanding of multidisciplinary integration.
  • Extensive background in design, contract preparation, tender assessment, and contract management.
  • Experience in mentoring and developing junior staff.
