Workshop Operations Manager

Job Summary
The Solution Group Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to take on the role of Workshop Manager. This position is ideal for a professional with hands-on experience in metalwork and a proven track record of leading teams to achieve production targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the workshop, ensuring efficiency and high standards of work.
- Lead and support a team of metalworkers, fabricators, and welders in achieving production targets.
- Assist in planning and organizing workload to meet project deadlines.
- Ensure all work is completed to the required quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sheet Metalworker, Fabricator, or Welder with strong technical skills.
- Previous supervisory or foreman experience is desirable but not essential; the right leadership qualities and a proactive approach are key.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to challenges.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and guide a team.
