Trainee Traffic Maintenance Engineer

Telent Technology Services Limited is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Traffic Maintenance Engineer to join our team in the Buckinghamshire region. As a Trainee Traffic Maintenance Engineer, you will work closely with experienced Traffic Engineers to troubleshoot, fix, maintain, and test Traffic Signals and electrical equipment in and around the Crawley and West Sussex regions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of Traffic Signals and electrical equipment
  • Work closely with experienced Traffic Engineers to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of electrical testing, maintenance, and installation procedures
  • Participate in on-the-job training and online learning to develop skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of Traffic Signals and electrical equipment
Requirements:
  • Full UK driving license
  • Previous experience in electrical testing, maintenance, or installation
  • Ability to problem-solve and think critically
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to learn and develop skills and knowledge
