We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our team at Mears. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational delivery of planned work and contracts, ensuring that all associated staff and subcontractors are managed effectively and that contractual KPIs and targets are achieved and maintained.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and monitor work programme progression and completion via ongoing site visits to ensure works are adequately resourced, being effectively delivered to set quality standards and completed on time and within budget.
- Manage and monitor the performance of employees and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with H&S regulations, Mears standard operating procedures and values, quality assurance accreditations, CDM and the company's commitment to best practice with legislation and codes of good working practices.
- Provide quotations for work, manage costs during work, ensure final accounts are completed accurately and to budget and information input is timely and accurate in support of this.
- Provide good management of employees' performance, ensuring HR Policies and Procedures are followed.
- Ensure the customer experience is central to all activities by adopting a professional manner when communicating with all stakeholders, including appearance, company ID and maintaining a high standard of Health and Safety requirements.
- Follow and support policies, procedures, initiatives and work instructions at all times and keep all supplied company assets in a good condition in line with the company policies, reporting to your Manager where damages occur.
- Undertake any other duties as required by the company, provide back up to other site managers to cover any absences and attend informal and formal company and client meetings and training sessions as required.
- Relevant experience working with buildings over 18 meters.
- Understanding and experience in external wall insulation and concrete repair.
- Previous experience in a managerial role.
- SSMTS accreditation.
- Knowledge and experience in social housing.
- Good Communication skills.
- UK Full Driving licence.
- Current CSCS card.
- Meeting with and building client relationships through meetings and by providing a quality service to exceptional standards.
- Overall management for everything health and safety.
- Managing the site on a day-to-day basis, including supervising the labour force, monitoring subcontractors, checking materials, inspecting work and overseeing quality control.
- Overseeing the ordering of necessary materials and equipment.
- Report writing and site monitoring.
- Sub Contractor Performance Reviews.
- Competitive basic salary - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
