We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dining establishment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations in the food and beverage sectors, ensuring a high standard of service and guest satisfaction.
- Supervise breakfast, lunch, and dinner services, maintaining service excellence.
- Possess extensive knowledge of food and wine pairings, ensuring the team is well-versed in menu offerings.
- Build rapport with guests, acknowledging regular patrons and fostering relationships.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) and reservation systems proficiently.
- Monitor sales performance, oversee cash handling, and prepare end-of-day reports.
- Promote a professional image within the department, collaborating effectively with colleagues.
- Conduct team briefings and meetings in the absence of the Restaurant Manager.
- Support the kitchen team and other departments to enhance the guest experience.
- Be present during special events and peak periods to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- A genuine passion for the hospitality sector and a commitment to enhancing the company's reputation.
- Previous experience in a similar role within a fine dining environment is preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail.
- Strong leadership abilities to motivate and develop team members.
