About the Role

Randstad Care is partnering with the Connected Carers Team in Durham to recruit a dedicated Social Worker. In this role, you will be responsible for completing Form C and Special Guardianship Order (SGO) assessments to ensure that carers are equipped to provide safe and supportive homes for children and young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify the needs of carers and children
  • Develop and implement support plans to promote the well-being of carers and children
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to care and support
  • Provide guidance and training to carers to enhance their skills and confidence
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Social Work or a related field
  • Experience working with children and families in a social care setting
  • Strong assessment and planning skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
