Residential Property Legal Secretary / Assistant

Job Title: Residential Property Secretary / Assistant

Location: Central London

McKinlay Law is seeking an experienced residential property PA or secretary to provide full secretarial PA and administrative support to a Partner and senior lawyer who deal with a mixture of high-end residential property transactions and plot sales for developers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with clients and developers to ensure seamless communication and project progression.
  • Completing Land Registry forms and conducting Land Registry searches to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Corresponding with clients and maintaining a professional client manner.
  • Opening files and managing paperwork to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Post-completion tasks and amending legal documents, including leases and sales agreements.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of one year's experience in property law.
  • Strong IT skills and proficiency in using Land Registry.
  • A solid understanding of searches and procedures.
