Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our Naval Ships team at BAE Systems. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in designing and building complex warships and their combat management systems for the UK Royal Navy's surface fleet.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and governing capable methods of manufacture, assembly, disassembly, and repair that meet customer and business requirements for Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery throughout the product lifecycle. This will involve influencing design to ensure it aligns with current and evolving manufacturing capability, developing manufacturing capability and technology, and translating engineering design intent into manufacturing engineering data for use in operations.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess a relevant degree in engineering or a related field, along with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and principles. The ideal candidate will be competent and capable in the tasks they perform, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
