About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Support Worker to join our Residential Team at Bay View. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a safe, secure, and homely environment for children and young adults, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Contribute to the development of individual care plans, ensuring that the needs of each child are met and their progress is monitored.
  • Participate in activities and outings with children, promoting their social, emotional, and educational development.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a clean, safe, and secure environment, adhering to Bay View's policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Hold a Diploma Level in Working with Children & Young People.
  • Be over 18 years of age and hold a full UK driving license.
  • Be able to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
