Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team at ADR Eng Specialists Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out repairs to process equipment and plant machinery in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
  • Work in partnership with the Maintenance Manager, production staff, and technicians to identify and resolve maintenance issues.
  • Conduct regular inspections of process plant and equipment to identify potential issues and implement proactive maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with site H&S procedures and report any risks or incidents via our internal reporting process.
  • Troubleshoot and perform practical fault finding on plant and mechanical/electrical machinery.

Requirements:

  • Time served Maintenance Engineer with experience in the food manufacturing sector.
  • Recognized engineering qualification (e.g. HNC/HND/ONC/OND).
  • Accustomed to working in fast-paced and challenging environments.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude, with experience of machinery such as multi-head weighers, packaging machinery, conveyors, and metal detectors.

  • A 3-week shift pattern, including earlies, mids, and nights.
