Job Title: Automotive Paint Technician

Location: Glasgow

Salary: Up to £45,000 plus uncapped time saved bonus

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week - No Weekends

Type: Full-Time, Permanent Position

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Paint Technician to become a vital part of our professional body shop team at Rubber Duck Cars.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize your knowledge of spray painting technology, paint formulations, and various application techniques. Stay informed about product innovations and participate in relevant training sessions.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle preparation, including masking, sanding, and other essential tasks prior to painting.
  • Deliver high-quality finishes in spray painting, consistently prioritizing customer satisfaction and care. Experience with Roll Priming is a plus.
  • Adhere to safety protocols by using the appropriate protective equipment and clothing, attending company-organized medical evaluations, and promptly reporting any health or vision issues to management.
  • Maintain a tidy and secure workspace, ensuring that all company tools and equipment are well-maintained to reduce fire risks.
  • Comply with all housekeeping, health, and safety regulations relevant to your role and work environment.

Qualifications:
ATA certification is preferred but not essential. A minimum of 3 years' experience in automotive paint spraying is required.
