Job Title: Multiskilled Electrical Engineer
Job Summary:
The Oval Partnership is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Engineering department, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and equipment, including packing machinery and associated equipment.
- Record and log maintenance requests and fault repairs, and attend to breakdowns in a timely and controlled manner.
- Provide progress reports to Engineering Management and Supervisors.
- Carry out specific projects as required by the Engineering Management team.
- Comply with health and safety and food safety legislation.
- Liaise with the production team to ensure customer satisfaction is guaranteed.
Requirements:
- Relevant engineering qualifications or experience as a time-served engineer.
- Completed an apprenticeship or equivalent formal training program in electrical installation and maintenance.
- Proven experience of planned maintenance systems, breakdown maintenance, and installations.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to take direction and challenge in a professional manner.
Working Hours:
Early and late shifts available.
