Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Safety Specialist to join our team at Morrison Utility Services Limited. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of electrical installations and systems in the MEICA contracting industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough electrical inspections and testing in industrial environments to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Complete Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) to provide a comprehensive assessment of electrical systems.
  • Perform electrical remedial work and installation tasks as needed to ensure the safety and integrity of electrical systems.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and fellow team members to uphold industry standards and best practices.

Requirements:

  • C&G 2391-52 Inspection and Testing or equivalent qualification.
  • C&G Level 3/NVQ Level 3 in electrical discipline or equivalent qualification.
  • 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations knowledge.
  • FET/Periodic Electrical Tester certification knowledge.
  • Proven experience in electrical inspection and testing in an industrial environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in teams or independently.
  • Sound judgement and proactive problem-solving abilities.
  • Adaptability to respond to unforeseen events and safety issues.
