About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our Ophthalmology team at Practice Plus Group. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide essential support to our nursing staff and contribute to delivering high-quality patient care in a safe and caring environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcoming patients and visitors, ensuring a pleasant and efficient experience
  • Dealing with enquiries and maintaining confidentiality
  • Assisting with data entry, documentation, and other administrative tasks
  • Working with Ophthalmic Nurses in outpatients and theatre settings

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care
  • Experience in a Healthcare Assistant role or similar
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts and travel to mobile sites
