About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at Live Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing and delivering large-scale technical production projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technical production and staging, as well as excellent project management skills. You will be responsible for specifying and quoting jobs, managing timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring projects are executed efficiently and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee full-cycle delivery of technical production projects
  • Build and maintain client relationships
  • Expand the corporate conference sector and strengthen industry partnerships
  • Boost revenue through AV equipment hire and sales
  • Coordinate onsite teams
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of experience in technical production, event management, or related fields, backed by a strong network of industry contacts, particularly within the corporate / theatre market.

We are seeking someone who can demonstrate a proven ability to generate revenue and manage large-scale projects in the event and AV sectors. Experience with theatre, festivals, weddings, or large-scale outdoor events is a plus.

The role requires strong organisational and project management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously, along with in-depth knowledge of staging, lighting, and AV equipment. Familiarity with hire and sales is preferred. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are essential, as the candidate will work collaboratively across teams. A business-focused mindset with a track record of increasing profitability is crucial.
