Credit Risk Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Credit Risk Analyst to join our team at The Very Group. As a Senior Analyst, you will play a critical role in making informed decisions that drive business growth and minimize risk.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement data-driven models to forecast bad debt performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely provisioning of IFRS 9.
- Analyze and interpret complex data sets to inform business decisions and drive strategic initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in developing traditional statistical models and proficiency in SAS/SQL/Excel.
- Strong understanding of financial services and banking principles, including IFRS 9 accounting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for using data to drive business outcomes.
