Job Title: Semi-Skilled HGV Mechanic/ Trailer Fitter

We are seeking a skilled Semi-Skilled HGV Mechanic/ Trailer Fitter to join our team at WM HAMILTON SONS. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of trailers, ensuring they are roadworthy and performing regular vehicle checks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out repairs and maintenance on trailers and other company vehicles.
  • Conduct regular vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness.
  • Perform maintenance and servicing tasks on trailers and other equipment.
  • Prepare new vehicles for on-road use.
  • Welding tasks as required.
Requirements:
  • No formal qualifications are required, but experience as a semi-skilled HGV mechanic or trailer fitter is essential.
