Are you a skilled and passionate Automotive Technician seeking a rewarding opportunity? Service Care Solutions is looking for a committed Automotive Technician/MOT Specialist to become part of our client's workforce.


Key Responsibilities:


Perform diagnostics, repairs, and servicing on a diverse range of vehicles and specialized machinery, including municipal vehicles such as refuse collection units, street cleaning machines, and more.

Utilize various workshop tools and equipment, including brake testing apparatus and emissions testing devices.
Travel to different service locations as needed.
Complete and maintain necessary documentation, including work orders, inspection reports, and time logs.
Ensure proper care of tools and equipment borrowed from the inventory and maintain personal tools in good condition.
Work on vehicles and machinery that may be dirty and in challenging weather conditions when required.
Comply with all Health and Safety regulations and protocols.
Deliver exceptional customer service in all interactions.
Provide guidance, information, and mentorship to apprentices.
Engage in training opportunities to improve skills and knowledge.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:
Certified Mechanic
Certified MOT Tester
Flexibility to work rotating shifts (06:00-14:00 or 14:00-22:00)

Requirements:
Valid driving license (LGV category C is preferred but not mandatory)
NVQ level 3 and/or City & Guilds (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance/Repair
Excellent organizational abilities
LGV License

Compensation:
£18 to £22 PAYE per hour based on experience.
