About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Duty Manager to join our Centre Management Team at Freedom Leisure. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and running of the leisure centre to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop a team of operational staff to deliver excellent customer service and ensure the smooth operation of the centre.
  • Contribute to and understand the business and budgetary performance of the centre, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
  • Be a proactive member of the leisure centre team, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement new ideas and initiatives to improve customer experience and centre performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.
Requirements
  • NPLQ qualification and experience of working in a leisure centre environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, and to respond to variable demands.
  • Passion for the leisure industry and commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
