Technical Director

Our client, a leading company in the food industry, is seeking a highly skilled Technical Manager to join their team. As a Technical Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of their products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality management systems, procedures, and policies to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Lead the HACCP team and ensure the effective implementation of HACCP plans.
• Conduct internal audits and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with the site management team to ensure the effective implementation of quality management systems.
• Provide technical expertise and support to staff on quality-related matters.
• Develop and maintain hygiene procedures and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Coordinate and communicate laboratory results to the site management team.
• Support the site in maintaining BRC accreditation.

Requirements:

• Degree in Food Science or Manufacturing or equivalent.
• Experience working in a technical or quality role within the food industry.
• Intermediate Food Hygiene certification.
• Knowledge of BRC standards and food safety.
• Computer literate and advanced HACCP skills.
• Fully conversant with BRC standards.
