Position Overview
This part-time, on-site position as a Quality Assurance Officer and Responsible Person at BTG GASES in Sittingbourne involves ensuring adherence to Good Distribution Practice (GDP) regulations, overseeing quality management systems, conducting audits, and serving as the designated Responsible Person for our drug distribution licenses.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Serve as the designated Responsible Person on drug distribution licenses
• Develop and enhance the Quality Management System (QMS)
• Facilitate and address regulatory and client audits
• Evaluate the effects of deviations on stored products
• Ensure that self-inspections and assessments of subcontractors are conducted
• Provide quality systems and technical assistance throughout the organization
• Guarantee compliance with GDP for the transportation, storage, and distribution of products
• Maintain technical agreements and necessary documentation
Qualifications:
• At least 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical wholesale distribution
• Currently recognized as a Responsible Person on an MHRA license
• Eligibility as a Responsible Person in training will be advantageous
• Comprehensive understanding of current GDP regulations
• Experience in auditing GDP distribution facilities
• Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation
