Job Title: School Immunisation Service Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Paramedic or Pharmacist to join our team as a School Immunisation Service Nurse. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, delivering high-quality immunisation services to schools and communities.

About the Role

As a School Immunisation Service Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering immunisation services to school-aged children, working collaboratively with our team to ensure the smooth delivery of our services. You will be required to work independently, using your clinical skills and judgment to make decisions and take appropriate action.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver immunisation services to school-aged children, following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure the smooth delivery of our services.
  • Use your clinical skills and judgment to make decisions and take appropriate action.
  • Participate in clinical supervision and performance management.
  • Ensure all clinical incidents, near misses, and complaints are reported and monitored.
Person Specification
  • Paramedics registered with the HCPC or Pharmacists registered with the GPhC.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development.
  • Understanding of the Routine National Immunisation schedule.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
