Compensation: £23.88 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance personal skill sets to manage a broader array of responsibilities and, when necessary, pursue relevant training or academic qualifications.
- Ensure that all advice and recommendations align with the Council's planning policies, standards, and applicable Government regulations and guidance.
- Contribute to improving service delivery by developing and implementing best practices while maintaining customer-focused standards in a regulatory context.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure compliance with planning policies and relevant legislation.
- Support the enhancement of service quality through the adoption of best practices and customer-centric approaches.
Required Qualifications:
- A relevant qualification in Town Planning or an equivalent discipline that supports RTPI membership or a graduate qualification in a related field.
- Willingness to attend meetings or perform duties outside standard working hours, including evening engagements.
Desired Experience:
- Familiarity with or experience in delivering customer services and being accountable for these services.
- Experience in complex development management tasks, particularly in urban settings.
- Knowledge of negotiating legal agreements related to planning applications.
- Experience in addressing Member inquiries.
Additional Information:
- Availability for immediate work or at short notice is essential.
- Eligibility to work in the U.K. is required.
