Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Goods In Operative for a prominent Aerospace Engineering firm.

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that components passing through quality assurance are thoroughly examined and managed according to the organization's operational protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of incoming components from suppliers.
  • Support the Quality Control Inspector in verifying the accuracy and quality of received goods.
  • Ensure proper labeling and identification of all components.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Experience in a quality-focused, fast-paced environment.
  • Proven background in a manufacturing or engineering setting, preferably within the engineering sector.
  • Ability to adhere to established procedures with precision.
  • Proficient in computer usage with strong IT skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products.
  • Experience in manual handling of high-value items is advantageous.
  • Background in a target-driven work culture.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM & Friday: 7:30 AM - 12:30 PM (39 hours per week)

Compensation:

£12.50 per hour
