About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Property Solicitor to join our team at Douglas Scott Legal Recruitment. As a key member of our property law team, you will be responsible for managing a busy caseload of residential property matters, providing expert advice to clients, and working closely with colleagues to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a Caseload of Residential Property Matters
    • Handle a wide range of residential property transactions, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity
    • Act as a key point of contact for clients, providing timely and accurate advice
  • Provide Expert Advice and Guidance
    • Offer expert advice on residential property law and related matters
    • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Supervise and Mentor Junior Team Members
    • Supervise and mentor junior members of the team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed
    • Provide guidance and support to help junior team members develop their careers
Requirements
  • Qualifications and Experience
    • Qualified Solicitor with at least 2 years' experience in Residential Property matters
    • Experience in managing a busy caseload of high net worth clients
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Strong technical skills and experience in handling complex transactions
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships
    • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
