Draughtsperson Trainee

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Draughtsperson Apprentice to join our team at Unique Group. As a key member of our design team, you will play a crucial role in creating accurate and efficient designs for our subsea products and systems.

• Design and Drawing Production: Assist in designing logic control circuits and produce logic drawings that meet the requirements of our subsea products and systems.
• Electrical Design and Interfaces: Participate in the design of electrical interfaces for products and systems, ensuring proper integration and functionality.
• Compliance and Standards: Learn to conduct power assessments and contribute to product specification reviews and conformity assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; enrolment in or completion of a relevant technical program or apprenticeship in draughtsmanship, engineering, or a related field.
• Skills: Basic understanding of technical drawing, CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.), and a strong willingness to learn. Good attention to detail and an interest in engineering and design.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems is an advantage but not required; training will be provided.
• Attributes: Strong problem-solving skills, a proactive approach to learning, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
