Position Summary:
They are in search of a dedicated and skilled Support & Compliance Engineer to become a vital part of their team. The compensation for this role begins at £30,000 per annum.
Key Responsibilities:
The Support & Compliance Engineer will undertake the following duties:
- Plan and oversee product testing, both internally and with external testing providers as necessary.
- Participate in design reviews to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
- Review and endorse internal test plans and reports.
- Ensure compliance with applicable CE directives.
- Develop and maintain technical construction files.
- Conduct product design evaluations against relevant human factors and risk assessment standards.
- Collaborate with ILS specialists and engineers to fulfill customer ILS requirements.
- Ensure product adherence to customer contractual obligations.
- Develop and implement customer factory and site acceptance protocols.
- Create and maintain product documentation, including operator manuals, maintenance guides, and illustrated parts catalogues.
- Work with illustrators and engineers to refine and enhance procedures.
Required Skills & Experience:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A degree or equivalent qualification.
- A comprehensive understanding of engineering principles with a systematic approach to problem-solving.
- A strong grasp of compliance, legislation, and standards.
- Experience with ISO 9001, 45001, and 14001 systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A profound understanding of customer needs and market dynamics.
- Strong IT proficiency.
