About this role
We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our Integrated Care Service in Barking and Dagenham. As a Social Worker, you will work alongside a team of highly engaged and creative professionals who are committed to delivering high-quality social work services.
Your workload will be varied, and you will have the opportunity to listen to the stories of our service users, providing case management, guidance, support, and expert advice to other Social Care Staff and students where appropriate. You will be able to fulfill all duties within a safeguarding enquiry process as set out in the Care Act 2014 and within the spirit of 'Making Safeguarding Personal'.
We are committed to supporting Social Workers who are keen to develop and continue their social work journey with us. You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively within a multi-agency/multi-professional setting with relevant statutory agencies, health service colleagues, Police, as well as Third Sector organisations involved with.
Special requirements for this post
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, and a comprehensive screening process will be undertaken on successful applicants, including an Enhanced Adults DBS Disclosure check. You will also need a current SWE registration. Saturday Duty cover will be expected.
