Overview:
MET Recruitment UK LTD is seeking a dedicated Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician to become a vital part of our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs, diagnosing vehicle issues, and providing support during breakdowns. Additionally, the role includes preparing vehicles for inspections.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive inspections of vehicles to detect potential problems.
- Delivering high-quality service and repairs for all vehicles.
- Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards in all tasks.
- Preparing vehicles for inspections.
- Performing regular safety checks every six weeks.
- Maintaining accurate records of work completed and parts utilized.
- Completing necessary documentation and reports.
- Carrying out routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake checks.
Candidate Requirements:
- Willingness to work 4.5 hours on Saturdays.
- Proven experience as a Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician with HGV vehicles.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and effective problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently.
- Commitment to health and safety practices in the workplace.
