Job Summary

Medigold Health is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Health Advisor to join our team. As an Occupational Health Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing expert advice and guidance to our clients on occupational health matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Practice within the scope of the NMC professional practice and Code of Conduct, working according to qualification, experience, and competency.
  • Ensure clinical standards of best practice are followed and company policies and procedures are adhered to.
  • Utilize company IT systems in the performance of duties.
  • Undertake health surveillance/medicals/health promotion activities as required.
  • Deliver the Occupational Health Service to Medigold clients, ensuring that the provision of Occupational Health advice is of the highest standard.
  • Undertake clinical supervision/peer audit in relation to case management in a level 1 role.
  • Act as an ambassador and promote the Occupational Health services available.
Requirements
  • RN Qualification and active NMC registration.
  • Occupational Health degree/diploma and NMC registration.
  • Demonstrable equivalent experience within Occupational Health departments.
  • Experience of attending, presenting, and hosting client Wellness and Health promotion days.
  • Trained to undertake all clinical services including health surveillance, fitness to work medicals, vaccinations, and phlebotomy.
  • Extending experience, skills, and competency with case management activities undertaking increasing complexity of referrals.
Core Skills and Behaviours
  • RN Qualification and active NMC registration.
  • Previous experience in a commercial or corporate OH environment or relevant transferrable skills (desired but not essential).
  • Organisational skills - good time management and priority setting.
  • Ability to follow agreed standards of Practice and Protocols.
  • Exemplary communication skills and good telephone manner.
  • Ability to identify gaps in own skills and knowledge and request training to promote clinical development.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • At all times act and behave in accordance with NMC – The Code.
  • Good interpersonal, influencing, and presentation skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
