Job Summary:

Huntress Search Ltd is seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the full end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Management: Manage the full end-to-end payroll process, including processing payroll, managing employee data, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Employee Communication: Deal with complaints and questions regarding payroll from employees and upper management, providing clear and concise information to resolve issues.
  • Record Keeping: Update paper and electronic payroll records by entering adjustments on pay rates, employee status changes, and other relevant information.
  • Pay Calculation: Calculate pay according to hours worked, incorporating leaves and overtime, and ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure correct tax treatment of employees, including issuing P45's and dealing with PAYE enquires.

Requirements:

  • Experience: An individual with experience in Payroll, preferably in a similar role.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to speak to a wide range of people at all levels, adapting to different communication styles.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Confidentiality: Ability to enter data accurately while maintaining personnel and data confidentiality.
