Job Summary

DEED Leisure and Culture is seeking a Casual Swim Teacher to join our team. As a Casual Swim Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering swimming lessons to clients across various facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Aquatics Development Manager and Aquatic Lessons Coordinator in delivering teaching functions and customer service requirements.
  • Plan and deliver structured swimming sessions, utilizing excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team.
  • Organize sessions and time effectively, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Hold a UKCC Level 1 Swimming Teaching Qualification or a Scottish Swim Teacher Qualification (SSTQ).
  • Hold a current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification.
  • Have experience in planning and delivering swimming sessions.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Arrangements

As a Casual Swim Teacher, you will be required to work flexible hours across various facilities. You will be contacted when work is available, and there is no obligation to accept work. The rate of pay is £ per hour.
