Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Assistant to join our team at We Do Group. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in supporting our business growth and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting.

About the Role

This is a hands-on position that will involve a range of financial tasks, including:

  • Delivering month-end close activities for two small entities
  • Supporting fixed asset accounting and control
  • Assisting with management accounting for specified areas and entities
  • Posting accruals and prepayments
  • Posting VAT returns
  • Business partnering with internal stakeholders
  • Supporting with AP and AR processing when workloads require
  • Preparing and reviewing bank reconciliations
  • Reviewing and processing payment runs
  • Providing ad hoc support to payroll

Your Profile

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a good grasp of double-entry accounting and related reconciliations. You will need to be a team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 plus benefits, as well as a hybrid working model with 3 days per week in the office. Our office has parking on site and good bus links, making it easily accessible by public transport.
