Job Title

Reliability Maintenance Specialist

Location

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collate information from various digital toolsets to inform maintenance decisions.
  2. Investigate the functions and operation of systems and equipment fitted on board submarines.
  3. Identify potential failure points and determine maintenance requirements to prevent equipment failure.
  4. Ensure maintenance solutions support equipment, platform, and crew safety.
Requirements

Essential:

  1. STEM qualification or relevant experience.
  2. Awareness of maintenance processes and procedures.
  3. Strong problem-solving and questioning skills.
  4. Ability to continuously develop and improve skills.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable:

  1. Awareness of Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) principles.
  2. Awareness of Integrated Logistic or Product Support (ILSIPS) concepts.
  3. Awareness of Health, Safety, and Environment requirements.

About the Role

As part of our Support Engineering team, you'll work with the RCM Team to produce through-life maintenance solutions for submarines under construction. You'll support senior engineers in delivering maintenance solutions to customers and internal teams, and contribute to the development of supporting documentation and spares.
