Asbestos Consultant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Asbestos Consultant to join our team in Cardiff, South Wales. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for securing works from new and existing clients in the region and developing these relationships to establish a team within the region.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in asbestos consultancy, with a focus on surveying, re-inspection, and sampling. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing existing and new client relationships to secure asbestos consultancy related works
  • Cross-selling of other Tetra Tech services
  • Client and account management
  • Developing and managing a small team of site-based consultants to successfully deliver works
  • Carrying out asbestos surveys, re-inspections, and sampling as required
  • Collating and producing comprehensive reports as and when required

Requirements include:

  • British Occupational Hygiene Society modules P402, P403, and P404 or equivalent
  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent at grade C or above, including English and maths
  • Higher level qualifications such as an HND or equivalent would be advantageous
  • Security clearance and criminal background check requirements for work on various police and government contracts
  • Willingness to travel locally, regionally, and internationally
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
