Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Architectural Technician to join our team at Bennett and Game Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical drawings and leading multi-disciplinary projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce and coordinate technical drawings, utilizing Autodesk Revit and adhering to standard BIM workflow processes.
  • Deliver a range of projects in 2D/3D, ensuring timely completion and high standards of quality.
  • Assist in the preparation of drawings through all RIBA Work Stages, maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation.
  • Produce, analyze, and advise on detailed specifications for suitable materials or processes, ensuring robust details and associated specifications.
  • Attend meetings and site visits as required, liaising with internal and external bodies to provide technical advice, instruction, and reports.
  • Lead in the technical architectural design, collaborating with the design team and clients to ensure coordinated and well-resolved integration of design information.
  • Manage multi-disciplinary projects, resolving problems and issues that arise during construction.
  • Liaise with clients and develop key relationships, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.
  • Help mentor more junior members of staff, sharing knowledge and expertise to enhance team performance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of UK industry experience, with a strong understanding of current and emerging technical design, construction, and environmental issues.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD, with the ability to adapt to new technologies.
  • High technical standards, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
