Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Psychologist to join our multi-disciplinary team within the NELFT Adult Intensive Community Treatment (ICT) Team. The successful candidate will primarily focus on the Intensive Community Treatment pathway, playing a vital role in our committed team.

The Eating Disorder service provides evidence-based psychological interventions compliant with NICE guidelines for clients and their families. Our approach is unique as we offer specialized assessment and treatment for individuals aged 8 years and older, with no upper age limit. The strength of our team lies in our collaborative approach to the assessment and treatment of eating disorders.

We encourage applications from psychology graduates eager to enhance their skills and knowledge while working with individuals facing eating disorders.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Conduct psychological assessments under the supervision of a qualified psychologist, utilizing various assessment tools and methods.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of care plans focused on the psychological treatment and management of clients' issues.
  • Oversee a program of audits to evaluate treatment outcomes, collecting and analyzing data to contribute to team reports.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should possess:

  • An upper second-class honors degree or higher in psychology, with eligibility for graduate membership of the British Psychological Society.
