Internal Communications Specialist (14 months)

Job Overview

The Internal Communications team sits at the heart of the business. We're looking for a skilled Internal Communications Specialist to join our team and help us drive engagement across the organisation.

  1. Partner with stakeholders from across our business to support their role in delivering Colt's strategy
  2. Play a leading role in driving and supporting the change management agenda in this function and across the organisation
  3. Develop and execute a content plan that adds value and deepens colleagues' understanding of our purpose and our strategic priorities
  4. Embed Colt's values and culture into all your activities across the business to drive positive cultural change and to gain maximum buy-in and employee engagement
  5. Liaise with the wider Internal Communications team to support their campaigns and projects
  6. Lead on Colt-wide projects and campaigns where needed
  7. Understand Colt's key messaging, tone of voice, and apply this across all content created
  8. Understand and report on various channel and content analytics
Key Skills and Experience

We're looking for someone with:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
  • Previous internal communications experience working within the technology industry
  • Experience of change communications
  • Strategic and planning abilities - able to manage multiple plans and adapt to changing priorities and timelines quickly and easily
  • Excellent stakeholder management, at all levels
  • Ability to break down complicated and technical subjects into interesting and engaging communications
  • Strong networking skills, ability to build networks and generate content leads
  • Good experience using communications channels such as Poppulo, SharePoint intranets, and the MS Viva suite
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills
  • A good eye for detail and accuracy
  • Experience in working for a global organisation
  • Fluent in English - other languages very welcome
Education

A bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, marketing, or a relevant field (or equivalent experience).
