Job Title: Commercial Gas Engineer

JWB Recruitment is proud to be recruiting for a skilled Commercial Gas Engineer to join their team in Northampton.

The ideal candidate will have experience in servicing, breaking down, and repairing boilers in a commercial environment.

The role involves working on various sites, including ambulance stations, care homes, housing associations, schools, and colleges in the Northampton, Cambridge, Peterborough, and Leicester areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage own work and jobs to deliver high-quality results.
  • Responsible for the service and maintenance of commercial heating systems and building services.
  • Proactively identify and undertake heating/combustion maintenance works.
  • Undertake heating/combustion PPM work within set time frames to ensure statutory compliance.
  • Undertake heating/combustion improvement work as required.
  • Risk assess work/working environments before starting any works to avoid damages or injuries.

Requirements:

  • Experience in commercial gas engineering.
  • Ability to work independently and manage own workload.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Valid gas safety certification.
