GSL Education is seeking a passionate and committed Physical Education (PE) Instructor to engage with secondary school students in Rotherham. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who are energetic, dedicated, and have a proven history of enhancing student performance.

As a Physical Education (PE) Instructor, your primary focus will be on educating students in Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4), encouraging a passion for physical activity and critical thinking skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver dynamic and impactful Physical Education lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
  • Create and execute innovative lesson plans that align with educational standards.
  • Support students in exam preparation and coursework, providing additional assistance as necessary.
  • Engage in school activities, parent-teacher conferences, and ongoing professional development.
  • Prepare students for practical exercises and competitions, facilitating their participation in national events.

Qualifications:

  • A QTS/QTLS/PGCE in Physical Education.
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching and training secondary school students.
  • In-depth knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Physical Education curriculum.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional growth.
  • An up-to-date CV with two relevant references from the last two years.
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one promptly.
