Overview
We are seeking a Cottage Maintenance Operative to ensure our beautiful holiday accommodation in Shrewsbury is ready for guests.
Working Hours: 4.5 hours weekly. The primary changeover day is Friday, but additional changeover days may occur throughout the week, providing opportunities for extra hours if desired.
Schedules are provided in advance, and we strive to accommodate personal commitments whenever feasible.
Compensation: £11.50 per hour
Employment Type: Permanent
Internally, this role is referred to as 'Holidays Operation Assistant'
Work Environment
You will be responsible for the upkeep of Town Wall Towers, located centrally in Shrewsbury. This property is a cozy cottage spread over three levels, accommodating two guests, and is highly sought after by visitors exploring the area.

Key Responsibilities
On changeover days, your primary task will be to ensure the property is impeccably cleaned and prepared for incoming guests. This includes:
- Thoroughly cleaning and presenting the cottage to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Monitoring and reporting any maintenance issues or repairs needed.
- Replacing any damaged items using supplies from our inventory.
All necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided, along with comprehensive safety measures to protect our staff.
