About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Specialist to join our team at Babcock International Group. As a key member of our Estates Section, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing hot and cold water systems, drainage systems, and storage tanks across HM Naval Base Clyde.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance and nuclear implicated work to ensure the department meets the objectives of the business.
  • Identify and rectify system, manufacture, defects, and alterations to ensure the continued availability and performance of the Estates Systems.
  • Work within all H&S legislation, Safe Systems of Work, and control of work processes within BM&T Clyde policy.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a plumber, working with water and drainage systems, and industrial tanks.
  • Ideal experience with Legionella sampling qualification, but training will be provided.
  • Ability to understand and read drawings, think on your feet, and problem-solve with a high attention to detail and fault-finding.
  • Experience of maintenance procedures, risk, and COSHH assessments, and Safe Systems of Work with excellent team working and interpersonal skills.
