Senior Enterprise Solutions Architect

Amazon is seeking a highly motivated Senior Enterprise Solutions Architect to help accelerate adoption of AWS by enterprise customers across a variety of industries. As a Senior Solutions Architect at AWS, you will work directly with customers, helping them gain a competitive edge using AWS. You will influence customers' architectural choices across broad use cases involving security, compute, storage, networking, as well as advanced scenarios involving serverless, analytics, and AI/ML.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest-growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers, including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers to enable them to be cloud advocates.
  2. Formulate and execute a technology strategy to meet a customer's business objectives through the adoption of AWS.
  3. Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS, and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment.
  4. Ensure success in building and migrating applications, software, and services to the AWS platform.
  5. Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community.
  6. Author or otherwise contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers and blogs.
  7. Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and support.
