Key Responsibilities:

  • Construct pricing models utilizing machine learning and statistical methodologies for motor and property & casualty insurance.
  • Incorporate actuarial techniques into pricing frameworks.
  • Examine and process extensive datasets to uncover trends and optimization prospects.
  • Collaborate with product development, underwriting, risk management, and other departments to create integrated pricing strategies.
  • Remain updated on industry advancements in data science and machine learning.
  • Deliver insights and recommendations to upper management.
  • Support new product initiatives with expert pricing evaluations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in motor and/or property & casualty pricing analysis within the insurance industry.
  • Expertise in machine learning methodologies and tools (Python, R, SQL).
  • Understanding of actuarial principles, particularly in motor and property & casualty insurance.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.

Work Arrangement:

This position is based in London, offering flexible hybrid working arrangements. Candidates from various locations are welcome, provided they are willing to travel to the office as needed.
