The Oldham Council is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our school site, ensuring that it is clean, safe, and secure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Management: Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the school site, including buildings and grounds.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Coordinate and supervise cleaning staff, perform routine maintenance tasks, and carry out minor repairs.
- Health and Safety: Promote a culture of health and safety among staff and students, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practices.
- Facilities Management: Manage the use and development of school facilities, including supervising external contractors and coordinating site use planning.
- Team Management: Supervise and support a small team of site staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Budget Management: Manage a budget for site-related expenses, ensuring effective use of resources.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience in site management, facilities management, or a related field.
- Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Arrangements:
This is a full-time position, working 35 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work a split shift, including early mornings and evenings.
